Guiding policy as a key strategic element
Defining a guiding policy is the second key component of a good business strategy, the first one being the diagnosis, and the third one being a set of coherent actions.
The guiding policy should present a high level approach on how to deal with the obstacles defined in the diagnosis. It doesn’t define exactly what needs to be done (this is what the third step is for), rather, it outlines a series of principles and methods.
